Subject:                                         8-25-26 THOUGHTS

 

We have some important "mindset " words today.  By way of reminder, we ought to read these words at least once a week to reset our CENTER.  Selfishness is a human problem.  Christ Jesus showed us THE WAY to live!   I believe love is inversely related to selfishness.  We need to humble ourselves and become obedient to the denial of the self.   Be free to love!

Php 2:3-8    Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.  4  Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.  5  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  6  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:  7  But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8  And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Our Prayer:
We love You, and praise You and exalt Your great name.  Father God, free us to Your vision of love.  Teach us to love and to give unselfishly.  Thank You for the example of Your Son.  Help us to live in the shadow of the cross.  As the Potter, mold us and make us, after Your  will, O God.  Help us to take the role of yielded and still.  In the name of our Savior,    Amen.
